India Hockey: Fails to Chak

Things did not look so gloomy for Indian Hockey in 2007 - with a blockbuster movie centered around Hockey and with a convincing win in Asian Cup. Indian Hockey team has failed to carry on the momentum of Asia Cup win. Whereas the movie star has decided to rope in his money into Cricket.

Indians are crazy about Cricket - this is probably because Cricket is the only game where India can hope to be a World Champion. India’s early ouster in 2007 World Cup had created a bad taste in mouths Indian Cricket Fans. Sponsors/Endorsers/Media - Every one had time/energy to look beyond Cricket. But, with India’s triumph in just concluded Australian series, all is back to Just Cricket. The latest controversies - in and off the field - have also helped the Indian Cricket to steal more and more attention.
